Dojo Payments for OpenMage/Magento 1

Connect your OpenMage / Magento 1 store to Dojo Payments without rebuilding checkout. Customers pay on Dojo’s hosted page and return to your success or cart flow with order status updated automatically.

What does the module do?
Septsite_Dojo adds a Dojo payment method to Magento checkout. After placing an order, the module creates a Dojo Payment Intent, redirects the customer to the Dojo paymentLink, then updates the order from return, cancel, and webhook callbacks (payment_intent.status_updated).

Cards and wallets in one method
Configure allowed Dojo methods: Card, Wallet (Apple Pay / Google Pay when enabled on the Dojo account and available on the customer’s device), and Saved Card.

Reliable order status from Dojo
Orders are treated as paid only when the payment intent status is Captured. Authorized stays in pending payment. Repeated webhooks are processed idempotently to avoid duplicate invoices.

Safer callbacks by default
Webhook signature validation (HMAC-SHA256 / Dojo-Signature) can be required, with the webhook secret stored encrypted in Magento configuration.

OpenMage and Magento 1 merchants who want Dojo as a redirect payment method in one-page checkout — especially shops already using or planning a Dojo merchant account (sandbox or production).

Important notes

This is an early MVP release (0.1.0). Test thoroughly in Dojo sandbox before going live.
Magento admin refund, manual capture, and void/reversal against Dojo are not included yet (planned for a later stage). Capture Mode can be set for the Payment Intent API, but capture from Magento BO is not available in this version.
Wallet (Apple Pay / Google Pay) availability depends on Dojo account setup and the customer’s device/browser.
Keep webhook signature validation enabled in production; do not mix production keys with sandbox.

Installation overview
Upload module files (app/code/local/Septsite/Dojo and app/etc/modules/Septsite_Dojo.xml).
Clear Magento cache; enable Dojo Payments in configuration.
Enter API key, API version, capture mode, allowed methods, and webhook secret.
Register the notify URL in the Dojo Developer Portal and run sandbox payments (success, cancel, webhook)
